The Lefdal Mine Datacenter (LMD) – one of Europe’s most efficient, greenest and most secure data centres – will be opened on 10th May 2017 in a grand opening ceremony. The LMD operates exclusively on renewable energy and is being built on an area of 120,000 square meters in a former mineral mine near Måløy on the west coast of Norway. Now it is ready for customers! The first containers are already installed.
