# VX SE: A Free-Standing Enclosure for Larger Applications

When an application requires more space than a compact enclosure but does not require a bayed enclosure system, Rittal’s **VX SE free-standing enclosure** provides another option.

Available in a range of sizes, materials and protection classes, VX SE combines a **single-piece enclosure body** with the installation features of the Rittal system platform.

## More Space in a Single Enclosure

VX SE is available in widths of up to **1800 mm**, providing space for larger electrical and control configurations within a single enclosure.

Depending on the application, one VX SE can replace up to **three individual enclosures**, reducing the number of separate enclosure sections required.

A **300 mm deep version** is also available for applications where installation depth is limited, including machine building, building services and manufacturing environments.

## Designed for Straightforward Installation

The VX SE uses a **single-piece enclosure body**, providing a standalone enclosure without the components required for baying multiple cabinets.

The mounting plate is supplied **pre-installed**, ready for equipment installation.

Inside, Rittal’s **25 mm pitch pattern** provides compatibility with Rittal system accessories and flexibility when positioning components within the enclosure.

## Different Options for Different Environments

VX SE is available in **sheet steel and stainless steel**, allowing the enclosure material to be selected according to the application.

Depending on the version, protection ratings are available up to **IP66 and NEMA 4/4X**.

Stainless steel versions are suited to environments where corrosion resistance, cleaning and hygiene requirements need to be considered, including food and pharmaceutical applications.

**EMC versions** are also available for applications requiring electromagnetic shielding.

VX SE extends Rittal’s enclosure range between compact and bayed systems, providing a free-standing option for larger electrical and control applications.
