The Mine Electrical Safety Conference (MESC) is returning to Brisbane from 2nd–4th June 2025, marking its 35th year as Australia’s most respected event dedicated to mine electrical safety.
Held at the Sofitel Brisbane Central, MESC continues to attract electrical professionals, regulators, contractors, suppliers, and consultants who are committed to improving safety, compliance, and performance in the mining and quarrying sectors. The event is hosted by the Mine Electrical Safety Association (MESA) and is widely considered a must-attend for decision-makers and frontline teams alike.
Why Attend?
With growing pressure on mining operations to improve electrical safety, reduce downtime, and operate efficiently in extreme environments, MESC offers a critical space to share ideas, learn from case studies, and explore new technologies. The technical program will highlight real-world improvements, innovative product applications, and industry-led recommendations that shape the future of mine site safety.
It’s also an opportunity for electrical engineers, maintenance teams, and HSE professionals to speak directly with suppliers and gain insight into the latest safety-compliant systems and infrastructure.
Visit the Rittal Stand
Rittal is excited to be exhibiting at MESC 2025, bringing a focused range of solutions designed to perform in Australia’s toughest conditions. Our team will be on hand across all three days to share practical advice, discuss applications, and showcase new innovations that help mining operations run safely and efficiently.
On display at the Rittal stand:
- AE Sloped Roof Enclosure
Engineered for high-dust and high-temperature environments, this enclosure features a sloped roof design that prevents dust and debris buildup — a common hazard on mine sites. With robust construction and IP-rated protection, it's ideal for both indoor and outdoor electrical systems. - AX Plastic Enclosure
A lightweight, corrosion-resistant alternative to metal enclosures, the AX Plastic offers flexibility and protection in challenging environments. It’s particularly suited to coastal, chemical, and humid settings where traditional materials can degrade over time. - Blue e+ S Cooling Unit
This latest addition to the Blue e+ family offers intelligent climate control for electrical panels in a compact form. It combines high energy efficiency with reliability, helping to extend the life of sensitive electrical equipment — critical on sites where heat and dust are ever-present threats. - Built for the Demands of Modern Mining
Whether you’re planning an upgrade, solving long-term site issues, or starting a new project, Rittal solutions are engineered to meet the demands of modern mining operations. Our enclosures and climate control systems are used globally in mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and heavy industry — trusted for their durability, efficiency, and ease of integration.
If you're attending MESC, we invite you to visit the Rittal stand and speak with our team. We’ll be happy to discuss how our systems can help improve compliance, reduce unplanned downtime, and enhance electrical safety on your site.
