Late last year, APS Industrial officially opened the Rittal + Eplan Partner Application Centre, marking an important step in how Australian industry can engage with digital engineering and modern panel-building practices.
Developed in collaboration with Rittal and Eplan, the centre provides a practical environment where customers can explore how integrated software, systems, and manufacturing technologies work together across the full project lifecycle.
At its core is the connection between the Eplan engineering platform and Rittal’s enclosure and system solutions. By linking design data directly to production, the centre demonstrates how projects can move from concept through to assembly with greater accuracy and consistency. This approach reduces manual intervention, improves documentation quality, and supports more efficient delivery of control and switchgear systems.
As APS Industrial’s Managing Director, David Hegarty, explains:
“Becoming a Partner Application Centre is a very proud moment in our journey. Even more exciting is what this will mean for our local customer base and their ability to benefit from the efficiency and precision of integrated software, automated machinery, and assembly tools.”
Visitors to the centre can also see a range of technologies in action, including:
Together, these technologies highlight how digital workflows and automation can be applied in a practical, scalable way.
The centre is further supported by APS Industrial’s local Manufacturing Centre, which reinforces the ability to deliver these capabilities within Australia. This local presence ensures customers have access not only to advanced technology but also to technical expertise, support, and supply.
More than a showcase, the Partner Application Centre provides a clear pathway for businesses looking to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and adopt a more connected approach to engineering and manufacturing.
