The Therm software package takes care of the complex calculation of climate control requirements. A user-friendly interface guides you to the most suitable, correctly dimensioned climate control component. At the end of the calculation, you receive detailed documentation that you can either print out or simply transfer into your preferred word processing program. This provides maximum peace of mind when carrying out calculations.
All evaluations are based on the requirements of IEC/TR3 60890 890 AMD 1 and DIN 3168 for enclosure cooling units.
Package includes:
Enclosure Climate Control Calculator: To calculate the effective surface area and the heat dissipation via this surface for a selected enclosure specification. The external and internal temperatures and the voltage and frequency of the available power system are required as input parameters. On this basis, the program determines appropriate selections of climate control solutions from the following categories:
The program also takes into account the geometry of the available climate control units and specifies only those units which are suitable for the selected enclosures.
Chiller Configurator: A cost-effective way of designing your required machine and process cooling. Cooling output, volumetric flow and coolant temperatures are precisely tailored to the required level of your application.
IT Cooling Calculator: To easily select Liquid Cooling Packages (LCPs) for the rack and series cooling of your IT infrastructure. The cooling capacity of LCPs is calculated on the basis of a variety of physical parameters such as water inlet temperature and water volume, as well as the server inlet air and exhaust air temperatures. The complete results of the calculation can be saved as a pdf file in order to document the project.
Humidity Calculator: To calculate the Relative humidity/ Dew point and the absolute humidity
Blue e+ efficiency calculator: To calculate the energy efficiency (EER), energy costs saving, TCO and CO2 emission for the Blue e+ cooling units, according to the climate zone and hours of the operation.
RiDiag: A diagnosis and analysis program which serves to monitor the proper functioning of cooling units and in doing so, to simplify maintenance and the interpretation of system messages.
Heat Loss Calculator: A list of calculated dissipating heat for the common electrical devices from major brands, including Rittal, Phoenix Contact, Eaton, Siemens, etc.
